Dear Mrs Rowling,
I know from the very start that this email will probably be unread, but I think I should have the right to write it down the same. I’m one of the luckiest italian fan of Harry Potter to have had the possibility to read the last chapter “Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows” because of my good knowledge of English language. But I hope to resume the thought of all the italian non-bilingual fans that won’t have no possibilty to know before the 5th january 2008 how the story will go. This is an absolute injustice.
Consider that all of us (H.P. italian fans) reach the number of about 7,000,000; I’m sorry I can’t say certainly how many of them are speaking English at the moment. So here it is. I can’t understand the reason why Salani decided to publish your last beloved chapter of the whole saga only on a so far date; considering internet (and I know you’re not very fond of it) it would be quite impossible to not know before that date what will happen to the young wizard. So, for this, I needed to express my own opinion. My mate haven’t got the possibility to read it in English. Wouldn’t have been better to publish them (even the English version) in the same date? But I think that this could be a good way to make more money for you, and for Salani too. I’m very upset for all of them who followed during these years Harry, and have no possibility to delay their waiting ‘till next year. This is what I needed to say, that’s it. Hope you will try (if you ever read this message) somehow to fasten the date of publishing, according with Salani.
Thanks if you will read the same for the wonderful things you told us of, from the first, ‘til the last chapter of Harry Potter.
